A website is good, but finding it is even better!
Do you want your website to be well-referenced by search engines? Do you know the best practices for optimizing your SEO?
The basics for success!
Make a few text modifications to your site from time to time. Google really doesn’t like sleeping sites
Make regular posts on your social networks, always including the url (=address = domain name) of your website, to encourage users to visit your site.
The more your site is visited, the more it will be appreciated by search engines!
Remember to include the most relevant keywords in your H1 and H2 titles.
Put the right keywords in your site’s title and meta descriptions, which will appear on the search engine page.
Resize your photos so that they don’t exceed 200kb. A site that is heavy to load will not be effective
Don’t forget to add keywords behind your photos in the alternative text.
Never copy and paste text from other sites! Google recognizes everything and will penalize you 🙁
Never copy and paste text from other sites! Google recognizes everything and will penalize you 🙁
Add inbound and outbound links to other secure, well-known sites
If you follow these best practices, the results will be there! However, there’s still a long way to go… Search engines take their time, and you’ll be asked to work on your site regularly.
With these best practices, it takes 6 months to get decent results at the “Local” level, i.e. by targeting the name of your town in the keywords. For national SEO, and depending on your field of activity…Imagine you’re far from alone…so I wouldn’t comment on the timing!!!!
